Excellent opportunity for candidates with either academic or commercial GIS experience to join an established team in Glasgow City Centre on a hybrid basis.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proficiency with GIS software, ideally ESRI ArcGIS
- Experience of working with data from asset management systems, ideally SAP
- Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
- Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel • Experience in working with large datasets and in analysing data quality
- Analytical mindset.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues
- Able to manage work in a structured and organised way, and to present back in a clear and concise manner
