Job Title: IT Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Liverpool, UK

This role is working as part of a leading global online entertainment company, providing innovative gaming solutions and real-time sports updates. Our client is seeking an IT Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic IT department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a strong passion for technology, and demonstrate proficiency in DevOps processes. Responsibilities include; analysing industry-standard DevOps tools, designing and maintaining IT systems, and providing 2nd & 3rd line IT support. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and requires weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse DevOps tools and practices.
  • Establish and maintain international collaborations.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain IT systems and DevOps solutions.
  • Administer operating systems and applications.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows and manage hardware platforms.
  • Continuously identify and manage system improvements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
  • Prioritize tasks and provide on-call support.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a keen interest in IT trends and technological developments. A relevant qualification in Computer Science is advantageous.
