Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: North London (once every 2 weeks in the office)
Salary: £45 - £55,000

A forward-thinking company specialising in delivering immersive and realistic training scenarios are looking to scale their online platform. Their e-learning and examination platform is a tool designed to revolutionise training and development. This platform leverages the latest technologies to provide a seamless and immersive experience for users, tailored to the needs of the medical industry.

Job Overview:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and enhancement of the platform. You'd be working under the Lead Developer, forging ideas, tech and practices that will set the business up to achieve its ambitious goals. Their online platform has been developed in a legacy MVC framework. They are looking to rebuild the platform in Laravel v11 which is a major project you'll be working on upon joining.

Responsibilities:

  1. Platform Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and refine platform features.
  2. Technology Stack: Utilize PHP and Vue.js to build and maintain a scalable and responsive platform. Stay abreast of emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and improvements.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to integrate immersive scenarios into the platform. Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and address bugs and performance issues. Implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
  • Expertise in PHP with Laravel v9+ and a legacy MVC framework
  • Experience with Vue.js or a similar framework
  • Understanding of cloud engineering (AWS desired)
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL Server
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working on complex, interactive e-learning/educational platforms (Desirable)
