Job Summary:

As a Progress Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications, interfacing with new systems for seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise in Progress ABL and PASOE is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Progress OpenEdge applications.
• Interface with new systems and integrate them into our infrastructure.
• Utilize PASOE to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices.
• Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Progress OpenEdge development.
• Strong knowledge of Progress ABL.
• Experience with Progress Application Server for OpenEdge (PASOE) is required.
• Proficiency in interfacing with various systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Database management and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
