Software Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced software engineer to join a growing engineering company that specialise in laser based systems located just north of Oxford.

The production technician will be working on the companies next-generation of laser systems, which are commonly used for security and tracibility applications. You will be working in a small team where you will assemble, test and inspect the systems, which will include mechanical, software, electronic and optical elements.

The software engineer will be focused on the development of the business next-generation of laser based systems. You will be developing desktop applications, writing clean and maintainable code using C# and some other programming languages, developing software for controlling hardware systems and generally solving problems!

The software engineer will need to have 2-3 years (or more) of software development experience, knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, a familiarity of GIT version control and excellent communication skills. A degree in software (or similar) is highly beneficial.

Software Engineer Requirements

• Atleast 2 - 4 years of software development experience (using C# primarily)
• Knowledge of cloud computing and Git version control is required
• Any experience of industrial machinery, IoT devices, networking design, cyber security and DevOps is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Driven and reliable
