Your Role:
As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining their enterprise Data Platform. This platform is critical for data processing, business intelligence, and application development across their operations. You will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects, ensuring optimal data services, and automating data pipelines. Collaboration with business IT teams, data scientists, and external providers will be key to deploying and monitoring data processing, machine learning pipelines, and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance the platform’s architecture to meet business requirements.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous platform development and operations.

• Automate and maintain data pipelines from diverse sources for various systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deploy and monitor data processes.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data infrastructure and processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Highly competent in Apache, Docker, AWS cloud technologies.

• Strong experience with Parquet, Python, Spark, Airbyte, and Airflow.

• Detailed understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Expertise in ETL processes, data lakes, data warehouses, and relational databases.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, S3, and building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab.

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

• Desirable: Proficiency in French or Swiss languages.
