End User Support Analyst

Khuda Technology is partnering with a distinguished client to find a dedicated onsite End User Support Analyst. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional technical support, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing hardware assets, and supporting the user base for all IT-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, and support desktop applications, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Provide support for user base hardware, software, and communication products, adhering to agreed SLAs.
  • Accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating to appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Plan and manage office moves, ensuring IT equipment is disconnected and reconfigured as required.
  • Act as the initial contact for reporting technical issues and answering questions related to software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Maintain hardware assets, including registration and compliance.
  • Produce documentation, procedures, and technical notes.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all servers, including physical and virtual implementations.
  • Support networking components such as switches, cabling, and associated peripherals.
  • Document assistance requests thoroughly in the ticket management system and track incidents through to resolution or escalation.
  • Administer M365 accounts and access permissions.
  • Stay conversant with IT security, providing support for antivirus, peripheral access management, and endpoint protection.
  • Prioritise work effectively, managing multiple tasks with good judgment.
  • Assist IT Central service teams in provisioning upgrades and improvements as instructed.
  • Administer backup software, amend backups, and carry out restores according to backup and restore procedures.
  • Troubleshoot AV equipment and remote conferencing tools.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy state.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support on all servers across the infrastructure, including both physical and virtual implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical support.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware.
  • Experience with O365 administration.
  • End-user desktop and mobile device support.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
