Tech Lead

We are a fast-growing organisation that values creativity, collaboration, and a passion for cutting-edge technologies. We are currently looking for an Tech Lead to join our dynamic team and work closely with our esteemed clients project. As a Tech lead at GBR Group, his primary responsibilities include overseeing the technical team and its projects. You will analyse project briefs, identify risks and required resources, create work schedules, and write progress reports. To succeed, your technical expertise will need to be matched with an ability to coach and motivate a team, ensuring business goals are met. The Tech Lead will guide our technical team, ensure successful software delivery, and design robust architectures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Drive the technical vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives.
  • Oversee software development from design to deployment, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Design scalable, secure software architectures incorporating Microservices and Big Data Analytics. Ensure systems are robust and adaptable to future needs..
  • Participate in coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain high coding standards and best practices.
  • Implement and manage Cloud Architecture deployments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Optimise cloud solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and departments.
  • Implement QA processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and performance optimisations.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to enhance roductivity.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in software development, Machine Learning, AI, and Cloud computing.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience required as a Tech Lead or in a related role.
  • Proficient in Web based technologies like PHP and Laravel, Vue.js, along with Python, Machine Learning & AI , Redis, MongoDB , MySQL, Cassandra, API Gateway along with Multi tenancy.
  • Experience in developing the API’s for large scale enterprise applications along with leading the teams and deploying the solutions on the cloud apps
  • Experience in co-ordinating with the mobile development teams for the API integrations.
  • Expertise in Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, MySQL, Microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in Domains: Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, AI is essential
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture and deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Hands-on experience with Full-Stack technologies is a plus.

A knack for innovative solutions to complex problems and the ability to think critically under pressure.

The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical folks and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

A demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.

The salary will be £ 31,000 - £ 38,000 DOE.
