Position: Network/Connectivity Project Manager

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Network/Connectivity Project Manager to lead and manage complex network projects in our data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects involving network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, MPLS, OSPF/IS-IS.
• Design and manage data centre network architecture, including CLOS topology.
• Oversee connectivity solutions, including RACS, structured cabling, networking, data points, patch panels, and cross-connects.
• Ensure efficient implementation and management of EMS and PMS systems.
• Supervise and coordinate 1st fix fibre splicing, fibre optic cabling, and termination.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of network switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Coordinate the deployment of wireless networking solutions within the data centre.
• Oversee the management of physical network infrastructure, including racks, cabinets, and servers.
• Ensure proper physical layout and organization of network equipment.
• Manage cable management systems to ensure neat and efficient cabling throughout the data centre.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of network protocols and data centre environments.
• Proven experience in project management of network and connectivity projects.
• Expertise in connectivity solutions, structured cabling, fibre splicing, and data point management.
• Familiarity with data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and best practices.
• Experience in managing physical network infrastructure, including racks, cabinets, and servers.
